What is the difference between Solid & Engineered Wood?
Solid wood is made purely of oak, it is cut and finished then ready for laying. Engineered wood is constructed of 3 layers of composite layers and a top layer of real veneer wood which makes it strong and affordable with the real wood look. Do you need to acclimatise flooring?
It is recommended to acclimatise all flooring for at least 72 hours in the room it is going to be laid in.
Should I get laminate or LVT for my kitchen & bathroom?
It’s not recommended to use laminate as the planks are not waterproof, some laminates are however splash resistant, be sure to check the product details. If you are looking for a long-lasting product that will withstand water then LVT is the perfect product, not only for kitchen and bathrooms but for all rooms in the home!
